Personality; Ravi is creative and artistic boy. He is a artistic prodigy. He is a curious and interested child who is fascinated by the world around him. He loves to take things apart just to see how they work. He is chatty and his hands get a good work out as he talks away in the only way he can. Ravi is open-minded and willing to believe in things other people aren't. He is happy to give everyone a chance and generally avoid prejudice.

Ravi has a vivid imagination and loves reading, creating imaginary worlds and drawing what he imagines. He also loves painting and creating sculptures of bits of things he finds randomly around the house. Background;
Sari Chandha was the only daughter of a poor Indian family. She was born into the lowest class of society. When she was sixteen years old she was assaulted and fell pregnant. Her family could not afford another mouth to feed and she panicked about what people would think about her. She could not afford to get rid of the baby. So instead she hid the pregnancy somehow. Keeping to herself, wearing clothes that bound and confined the bump, and pretending it would go away. When she went into labor she snuck into the woods near to their house and gave birth alone. She put the baby in a box when it was over and left him on the doorstep of the local Doctor.

Ravi was that baby. He was taken by the doctor and put into foster care. From there he was put up for International adoption. He was adopted by Duncan and Jason and was flown over from India with a Nurse and the hand over was done. By the time the adoption had gone through Ravi was six months old and it was evident that he was deaf. Ravi was not old enough to remember life in India and quickly settled into life in the UK. He had loving parents and siblings who liked having him around and playing with him. They did everything they could to make life easy for him and so Ravi learned sign language quickly and efficiently, especially as he started very young. It also became evident from young that Ravi was not only deaf but he was an artistic prodigy. His talent with art was amazing even before he started school. By the age of five he was painting realistic portraits of his family, good enough they could almost be photographs.
