Personality:
Personality: Time has changed Percy and he now sees the importance of family. He is very close to George, since the war, and also is determined to be there for his daughters. He shows compassion and caring where he did not before. However Percy still finds it easier to talk to figures of authority and those in the same standing as him. Often finding social interaction with others confusing. From a young age he was good at impressing those he needs too and he has not lost that. Percy enjoys reading and working. He expects the same respect from others that he shows himself. He sometimes has trouble picking up jokes unless they are obvious and fails to notice if someone he is explaining something to is bored. He has become over-protective of his daughters with everything that has happened. He still misses Penelope a lot.

Background: Percy grew up the third son in a poor family. He was kept protected from the effects of the first wizarding war and spent his childhood respecting his elder brothers, though informing them when he thought they were being stupid, and attempting to be a good role model to his younger ones. Percy was a very good kid, who respected his parents and did whatever they told him. He spent most of his free time learning, especially about the government, and was always reading the paper. As his siblings got older Percy spent most of his time avoiding their noise but he did love them and occasionally was happy to play quidditch. He was always willing to answer questions but hated being teased.

As time progressed Percy ended up fighting with his family over the return of Voldemort. It was not until the battle of Hogwarts that peace was made. Percy witnessed his brother Fred's death during that battle and the way it happened effected him a lot. He seemed to feel it hardest, second to George, and it bought the two siblings closer together. Despite the difference in personalities. Percy also lost the love of his life, Penelope Clearwater, during the battle. She left him a letter asking him to move on, love again and look after their daughter Ophelia.  Percy was a lot easier to get along with following the war but he was still ambitious and determined. Despite single handedly raising Ophelia he was not going to put his career on hold.

Percy married Audrey Oakham, finally made it to be Minister of Magic and had two children with Audrey. Everything seemed perfect. The press, looking for flaws, only snapped pictures of a smiling happy family including Ophelia. Recently however Percy's perfect life was thrown into turmoil. He found out his wife had been emotionally abusing his daughter Ophelia because of her connection to Penelope. When he confronted her they argued. Audrey ended up killing herself and leaving Percy with Molly II and Lucy. The guilt of not fulfilling Penelope's final wish, the loss of his wife and the crashing down of his perfect world affected Percy hard.

However he threw himself into work and while it was shaky for a while he managed to retain the Minster position. He now makes sure to spend time with his daughter Lucy, writes regularly to Molly II and maintains a much better relationship with Ophelia. He also continues to work very hard and is more determined than ever to rebuild what he lost. He recently allowed Amber Noel-Angel, Penelope's best friend from school, to move in as her husband recently died and she too is bringing up small children alone. However she has her own section of the house and he has released numerous press statements outlining their platonic relationship and keeping any hint of scandal at bay. He also has made it clear she must move out when she manages to find somewhere she can afford.
